We are hosting the 2026 Greek Independence Day Parade on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia on Sunday, April 26, 2026. The parade steps off from 22nd Street and the Parkway and marches toward the reviewing stand at 18th Street and Logan Circle. Come see the best Greek groups from Philadelphia, South Jersey, and Delaware as they make their way down the Parkway with colorful floats, banners, and of course Greek flags.

Annual Flag Raising Ceremony

Join us for the official start of the Celebration for 2026 with a flag-raising ceremony at Philadelphia City Hall’s North Apron at 12:00 PM

The Eleftheria Gala

The Eleftheria Gala is the signature black-tie dinner and fundraiser that highlights our Greek Independence Day weekend celebrations. Join us on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center (Grand Ballroom) for an unforgettable evening of elegance, pride, and community. The night begins with a cocktail reception at 5:00 PM, followed by dinner at 6:00 PM, along with special presentations honoring Hellenic heritage and excellence. Entertainment will be provided by the Marcantonis Band, featuring Greek international artist Christina Miliou.

2026 Philadelphia Greek Independence Day Parade

Join us for a day of celebration at the 2026 Greek Independence Day Parade and festivities on Sunday, April 26, 2026. The day will begin with a Doxology service at 10:00 AM at Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, followed by parade formation at 1:00 PM at 22nd Street & the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, and a 2:00 PM step-off, marching toward the grandstands at 18th Street and Logan Circle.
